The Joint Base San Antonio and the University of Incarnate Word will host a two-day “Hiring Our Heroes Career Summit” Aug. 7-8 at the University of Incarnate Word Sky Room, 847 E. Hildebrand Ave.

The event begins with a networking event from 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 7.

A job seekers morning session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.  A hiring fair will kick off at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m.

According to the event’s organizers, this event will provide the opportunity to “meet with military-ready companies actively hiring for open positions across various industries locally and nationwide..”
