The City of San  Antonio is asking for its community members to submit names for each of its City Council districts and one city employee. 

“The award is based on documented acts of selfless service. Selfless service consists of deeds and actions on behalf of others and going the “extra mile” beyond their job and post military career,” Burrell Palmer, the committee chair of the firsttime award program. 

Palmer said the nomination should cover volunteer efforts between November 2023 and September of this year.
