“Did you know in your first year of service in the federal government a disabled veteran with a disability rating of 30% or more receives 104 hours of disabled veteran leave?” asked Tab Bartl;ey in a recent social media post.
Her article caught our eye, and that is why we wanted to share these benefits with federal employees.
According to Bartley, this leave can be used to:
🔸 attend medical appointments
🔸 file VA disability claims
🔸 mental health appointment
🔸 mental health days
🔸 other appointments and procedures connected to their service-connected disability care
In addition to these benefits, federal agencies also measure this disability to hire employees.
