What the heck is an “elimination dinner?” was the thought at the MILTrac editorial team when we saw a post from one of our friends who is active in the Student Veterans of America at Fairmont State?

However, we recognized how these students raised money to offset their hotel, transportation and conference fees to attend the SVA national in Nashville in January. 2024..

This year, the students have a longer drive from their home in West Virginia to Colorado.

Most other student attendees get their university to fund these costs for one or two students.  The team at Fairmont wanted to provide the opportunity to attend this conference for a larger group.
