Veterans now have an option to get urgent care, outside of routine VA appointments. Eligible patients must have visited a VA clinic in the past two years.
The government veteran organization wants its patients know about this option. In a recent article, “According to Forbes Advisor, urgent care visits average over $100 for many common illnesses and injuries.”
The article stated this can include sinus infections, pink eye, urinary tract infections, sprains or strains and minor burns typify the kind of illnesses to use an urgent care.
The VA publishes a directory of VA or in-network community partners. By checking on the graphic below, veterans can find those resources.
