The ACTS Military Mission team will host a women’s retreat April 10-13 at the Saint Anthony de Padua Retreat Center.

The non-denominational retreat will begin April 10 with a 5 p.m. check-in at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 501 North Street, in Converse, Texas.  The weekend will end with a Mass at 11 a.m. A reception will be held  after the Sunday service.

“Personal wellness, including mental, emotional and spiritual aspects can be a challenge within the military community and especially among those transitioning from active duty, Air National Guard or military reserve,” said Marco Aldaz, a board member and spiritual director for  Military ACTS,  a non-denominational group.

The cost for each retreatant is $220 with a $50 deposit to make a reservation with the retreat.  Aldaz said some scholarships are also offered “because financial difficulties should not prevent anyone from attending.”
