Tyrone Hewitt, one of our MILTrac contributors, recently shared this link to every state’s veterans affairs office.

In his view, the states veterans resources provide additional resources  for veterans and their families. Hewitt, a retired Navy chief, said he tells his clients in transition to add their state to their resource tool kit.

However, one shouldn’t stop at their state’s office to get assistance.  Here in San Antonio, our Bexar County Veterans Service office provides services as well.  Many major states and counties have veteran assistance offices.  In smaller communities, the American Legion or VFW have service officers who can link veterans up to the right places to get their benefits.
