Do you have young women interested in science and technology?
Next week, CyberTexas will hold an all girls cyber camp set for June 9. The five-day camp is free and open to those women in middle and high school. Trisha Ivy, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant, and a information security supervisor, will lead the class.
“Girls will experience firsthand what it’s like to participate in the CyberPatriot program,” said Joe Sanchez, CyberTexas’ executive director. “Students will learn about the basic of Virtual Machines, Cyber Ethics, Windows 10 and Ubantu 18.
The camp will be held at St. Mary’s University, 1 Camino Santa Maria in San Antonio.
