Live in San Antonio and transitioning from the military?

Thinking that you want to relocate to south Texas when your military commitment and making plans to visit friends or families?

The Joint Transition Readiness Center will host a job fair Dec. 17 at 3981 Okubo Barracks.

“The fair brings together over 70 employers, resource providers and support organizations who value the discipline, experience, and leadership that Veterans and their Families bring to the workforce,” said Jose Ontiveros, the JBSA lead civilian on transition. “Whether you’re exploring career paths, looking to sharpen your professional skills, or seeking resources to support your transition, you’ll find meaningful opportunities and practical guidance.”

The event is open to all DoD ID card holders.   Those who have a Veterans Health Identification Card can attend this event.

However, they need to visit the JBSA Fort Sam visitor center to register their ID card.   Veterans should bring their driver’s license, registration and a valid insurance card to obtain access for this event.
