DESCRIPTION:Brooke Army Medical Center will host the Joint Base San Antonio Military Retiree Appreciation Day in the hospital’s Medical Mall. \nMilitary retirees and their family members will have access to a wide variety of health and wellness services and other resources to include: \n\nFlu shots.\nBlood pressure checks.\nOral cancer screens.\nMammograms. DESCRIPTION:The Military Transition Roundtable meets on alternative Mondays with students from the American GI Forum at the former Lulus Bakery on Main Street in San Antonio. \nThe program takes an hybrid approach as it allows other veterans to attend via Zoom. \nMatt Scherer has a passion coupled with knowledge for helping Transitioning Veterans through the use of the LinkedIn platform and the Military Transition Roundtable. He works with transitioning service members one on one for no fees to help them build a brand and a network.
