SUMMARY:Celebrate Independence Day without the fireworks
DESCRIPTION:For veterans with PTSD\, the Independence Day holiday is one that they want to avoid because of the fireworks.  That is why a local VFW post want to host an event without the firecrackers. \nThat’s why San Antonio and veterans might consider joining other veterans for the July 4 celebration at the American VFW\, located at 2222 Austin Highway.  The post will serve hot dogs and burgers at 5 p.m.\, and veterans are asked to bring a covered dish.  Fireworks are not allowed at this event. \nQuestions?  Call Amanda Munoz\, the posts quartermaster at 567-207-8286. \n \nShare this:Post
