  • Project Mend equipment drive

    Project Mend will host a medical equipment drive  Sept. 20 at two locations. The non-profit is looking for wheelchairs, rollators, tub transfer benches, power chairs and hospital beds.   • VETS2INDUSTRY 69th Virtual Networking Circuit Event

        VETS2INDUSTRY will host D. Matt Scherer in a three-hour, virtual symposium, Sept. 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. CDT. Scherer, the publisher of the Military Transition Roundtable, will share how veterans can capitalize on LinkedIn as a networking tool.     Post 593 hosts veterans and their families for doughnuts, coffee and fellowship every Tuesday.   According to the post organizers, this weekly event is designed to get veterans out of the house and mingling with others who have served in the military.
